Another Lake Lanier wedding..another amazing couple! :)
My 16 yr old daughter has been BEGGING me to take her along on a wedding shoot. And so I checked with the owners of EW, and they said it would be fine. She'd have to act and dress the part, which I knew she could do with no trouble. When we started off she was understandably nervous. Shooting indoors with only the on board flash. She loves taking pictures of things and friends, but a wedding is stressful in the sense that almost every shot matters. And she's a bit of a perfectionist like I am. So she started small, doing the "things" shots. And then by the end of the day, she was so calm and relaxed and so "pro". I was so proud of her. She was definately exhausted by the end of the night :)
Here are some of the pics she's edited so far... she has an amazing eye. I'm so jealous, but on the other hand so wonderful proud, that at the age of 16 she has this opportunity to shoot professional and learn from other photogs. I wish I had had that chance at 16.
This wedding was unique and soo much fun! The bride was stunning. The groom - and his old soul - was just beaming with love for his new bride. And a true joy to be around. You could see how genuinely he cares for her in everything in he did that night. Dinner was FABULOUS - shrimp cocktail, filet mignon, wedding cake for dessert.. Yum! AND there was a belly dancer. Definately a first for any wedding I've been to. But it went right along with the couple and their friends - FUN! FUN! FUN!
Here's my daughters first "pro" work :)
